About Me

Hi Everyone!

My name is Kelly Welch, and I'm a professor and author of intimate relationships, sex, and parenting. An enthusiastic wife, mom, teacher, speaker, and story-teller (and a bit of a frustrated comedian), I almost always squeeze the most out of every moment.  I've had it with divorce and what it's doing to our families today....and I'm doing something about it!

But I’m not a stuffy, ivory-tower academic who has no life experiences. I had four sons in six years, and I was a stay-at-home mom for 15 years. I know first-hand what it’s like to have a husband working late and having to get all four boys to four different baseball fields at the same time (with full tummies, clean uniforms, baseball gloves, cleats, and snacks, no less!).

I know what it’s like to feel like all I ever did was fold laundry or go to the store for milk and toilet paper or to break up yet another arugment over whose turn it was to ride shotgun. I know what it’s like to barely have time to take a shower, let alone find time to work out…afterall, there is absolutely nothing more important in a parent’s day than a hamster’s funeral.

I know how weary moms and dads get, how tough it is for them to find time alone with each other—and how guilty they feel when they do sneak away. I know how a couple’s little arguments turn into big arguments and stand-offs, and I know what it feels like to question whether a marriage can make it through the storm.

I’m a real housewife on the prairie who draws from real-life experiences and professional experiences to help intimate partners, married couples, and parents DO loving and living to the best of their capabilities!

And I'm here for your relationship success.

Thanks for stopping by...let's chat!

Best!

Kelly
